Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed that the likes of Khama Billiat and Hlompho Kekana have joined the list of the club's injury concerns ahead of their clash against AS Vita Club.
The Brazilians are currently in Congo, where they will lock horns with AS Vita today, May 24, in their second group stage fixture of the CAF Champions League campaign.
Head Coach Pitso Mosimane's side will look to get their CAF campaign back on track with a win tonight and improve their position on the group standings, however, Masandawana will be without the services of their Zimbabwean attacker, Billiat, as the player is currently nursing an ankle injury.
Another injury concern for Ka Bo Yellow is their captain, Kekana, who is due for a late fitness test. The CAF Champions League winners confirmed the news on their official website.
"Khama Billiat will sit this one out, as he's still nursing an ankle injury. Captain fantastic, Hlompho Kekana, is due for a late fitness test. The captain has a thigh strain," the club stated.
"Tiyani Mabunda has not fully recovered from an ankle injury, which means he definitely misses the tie. Ricardo Nascimento has been out now for some time with a groin injury. Wayne Arendse is recovering from an ankle injury and has resumed gym work, after undergoing surgery. Asavela Mbekile is out with a foot injury. Bangaly Sumahoro is out with an ankle injury," Sundowns added.
