Speaking on Bucs' social media platforms on arrival in Tunisia on Monday, Jele reiterated the importance of playing for a win against the defending champions, after the 0-0 draw in Orlando earlier this month.
"As players, we prepared very well these previous days. We know that we're playing against the defending champions and it's going to be a tough game, we know that. But, obviously, we're mentally prepared and physically so," Jele told Pirates' YouTube channel.

With Bucs coming from a 1-1 draw with Kaizer Chiefs in their most recent match, which was played this past weekend, Esperance come from a 1-0 win over US Tataouine in their last league match played on February 07.
"We'll do our best and try to beat them. We're not coming here to just play for playing, we want results as well. So, for us, it's to work harder, and as you know that the previous game against them we played a draw (but) we played very well as a team. So, for us, it's to maintain that and try to score some goals if we can," added Jele.
