The Tunisian giants, who are reigning champions of the continental competition, have confirmed that Ethiopian referee Bamlak Tessema Weyesa will be the man in the middle for Saturday's match at the Orlando Stadium.

"Ethiopian referee Bamlak Tessema Weyesa is appointed to officiate @OrlandoPirates EST @ESTuniscom on Feb 2," translated from the Esperance official Twitter account.

Weyesa served as a referee during the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and was last year selected as a match official for the World Cup in Russia, forming part of a small group of officials from Africa who participated in the global football showpiece.
