Denis Onyango: 6/10 Could have done better for Esperances' goal, but had a relatively quiet evening. Anele Ngcongca: 6.5 /10 The full-back put in a solid showing on the right. He was solid defensively and did well going forward. Thabo Nthethe: 6.5/10 The skipper for the night had a good game in the heart of the defence and did well to frustrate the Esperance attackers. Motjeka Madisha: 6/10 Was solid for the first 40 minutes, but his night ended early due to injury. Tebogo Langerman: 7/10 Langerman had a lot of joy going forward down the left flank and was equally impressive at the back. Tiyandi Mabunda: 6.5 /10 With Sundowns dominating possession, Mabunda did well to stop any counter attacks. While he was comfortable when in possession of the ball. Sibusiso Vilakazi: 7/10 Vilakazi continues to impress in the deeper role. He got the equaliser for Sundowns and did well to help Sundowns maintain possession. Themba Zwane: 6.5 /10 Zwane worked tirelessly in the middle of the park, but was a bit quiet in the final third. Percy Tau: 7/10 Tau threatened the Esperance defence from the onset. He picked up the assist for Vilakazis' goal and was by far the liveliest player on the park. Leonardo Castro: 5/10 The Colombian was restored to the line up, but endured a frustrating evening and missed a good chance in the second half. Substitutions: Bangaly Soumahoro: 5/10 The Big Ivorian looked comfortable for most of his cameo in the second half, but made a reckless challenge in the second half, which led to the penalty.
