Three South African internationals will be up against the best in Europe this coming season, and the Banyana Banyana stars have now found out their opponents.

The UEFA Women's Champions League draw has been made as the tournament gets underway once against, with Rhoda Mulaudzi, who recently joined Apollon Ladies in Cyprus, and Gintra Universitetas' SA duo of Nothando Vilakazi and Jermaine Seoposenwe all set to take part.

Mulaudzi's new side have been pitted against Rigas FS, SK Sturm Graz and Braga, while Vilakazi and Seoposenwe's team will face Vllaznia, Wexford Youths and Birkirkara.
Banyana head coach, Desiree Ellis, is delighted for the trio and what it means for South Africa, telling SAFA.net, "This is just great news. We have always said that we need players that will consistently play at the high level so we can be able to compete with the top footballing nations when we get to a competition like the World Cup…
"I would like to congratulate Rhoda on her move to Cyprus as this augurs well for the national team – the more players we have abroad the better for Banyana Banyana.

"This now brings to seven regular Banyana Banyana players playing abroad – Leandra (Smeda, Sweden), Ode (Fulutudilu, Spain), Linda and Thembi (Motlhalo and Kgatlana, both China) as well as Nothando and Jermaine (both Lithuania) – also not forgetting the likes of Amo (Motau) and Nomvula Kgoale (both USA)."
The first round of group games will take place on August 7.
