The Banyana mentor hailed her players for scoring early however, bemoaned her side's loss of concentration, stating that her team will be better prepared when playing in front of their home support.
"We scored early and didn't concede so those are the positives we took from the game," said the Banyana coach.
"However, we lost concentration we allowed them to turn the game into a battle, something we should have never allowed. We kept telling to stay in the game and that's it's not over.
"In the second leg we will have to be stronger mentally. This will be positive because we are going to be playing at home in front of our own supporters. We have to play well for them. We will work hard at keeping our concentration for the full game in our preparations," concluded Ellis.
Banyana are currently preparing for the second leg tie which will be played at the Dr Petrus Molemela stadium, in Bloemfontein, today.
