Banyana Banyana qualified for the African Women's Cup of Nations after thrashing Lesotho 6-0 in the second leg of their qualifier on Sunday afternoon.
The South Africans had a slight advantage coming into the encounter, having won the first leg 1-0 on Wednesday.
The hosts got off to the perfect start as Nothando Vilakazi picked out Jermaine Seoposenwe, who fired home from close range after just two minutes.
Three minutes later, the lead was doubled as the Botswana goalkeeper fumbled Kgaelebane Mohlakoana's shot into the path of Chantelle Essau, who made no mistake from close range.
Essau had the ball in the back of the net once again after 20 minutes, but her strike was flagged offside.
The visitors did see a bit more of the ball as the half went on, but they were unable to bypass goalkeeper Roxanne Barker.
Banyana's third goal arrived six minutes into the second half as Essua completed her brace with an impressive strike.
Khanya Xesi was handed her Banyana debut after replacing Essau in the 56th minute, and she made the perfect impact when she picked out Seoposenwe to slot home the fourth goal.
Banyana grabbed a fifth goal with 13 minutes remaining, with Hildah Magai marking her national team debut with a goal.
Leandra Smeda, who got the away goal in the first leg, rounded off the scoring in the 82nd minute by heading home Seoposenwe's cross.
