The Bafana Bafana squad selection will always divide opinion. Soccer Laduma lists five glaring omissions by Hugo Broos in his current squad doing duty at the AFCON qualifiers.

Tshegofatso Mabasa (Orlando Pirates)
Mabasa would probably be asking himself what more he needs to do, to earn a national team call-up after he won the Premiership Golden Boot award last season with 16 goals.
The 27-year-old striker has looked in good shape for more goals this season, as he has one goal under his name, in the MTN8 this campaign.
Mabasa is yet to feature for Bafana in competitive matches.
Fagrie Lakay (Pyramids)
Lakay had a good season with Pyramids after they pushed champions Al Ahly all the way near the finish line, as they lost out on the title by six points and ended up second on the standings.
The former Cape Town City forward scored an impressive eight goals in 23 league games for the Egyptian outfit.
Gift Links (Aarhus GF, Denmark)
At the age of 25, Links should be among the core of the Bafana players given the level that he is playing at week in and week out.
The former Citizens utility player has been exposed to UEFA competitions for AGF for the last five years and his omission from the national team in recent years raises eyebrows.
Links was one of the influential players that helped Aarhus reach the Danish Cup final towards the end of last season and has made a good start in the current Superliga campaign, with two goals and two assists in seven games.

Sage Stephens (Stellenbosch)
Stephens would feel hard done by, after his performances in the MTN8, where he only conceded one goal en route to the final.
Even on the back of last season's showing, where he was one of the key players who inspired Stellies to finish third in the Premiership log and qualified for the CAF Champions League for the first time.
Thabo Moloisane
Amidst a raid of Stellies players, Moloisane is one of the players who was linked with a big move either locally or abroad after impressing under Steve Barker.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns defender was linked with a move to Orlando Pirates, who faced competition from an unnamed club in the Major League Soccer (MLS).
The 25-year-old made 27 appearances for the Western Cape side in the league and was on the losing side only three times. Moloisane also started in all Stellies games on their way to winning the Carling Knockout last season.
