There are six new and returning names on Head Coach Stuart Baxter's Bafana Bafana squad list, however, it is set to be reduced to 23 players.
Baxter named his provisional squad today for the upcoming Africa Cup Of Nations competition that will be held in Egypt next month, where he mostly adding to his squad who qualified for the competition against Libya.
According to the Englishman, the current squad is set to be reduced to 23 players in the coming days, with indications that Baxter wants to continue monitoring certain players based on their fitness.

However, here are the six new faces who are currently on the provisional squad list and who were not included in the squad against Libya:
Nikola Tavares – according to the South African Football Association, the Crystal Palace defender is awaiting his passport.
Joel Unteresee – the FC Zurich defender also has a passport pending as things stand.
Sibusiso Vilakazi – the Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder returned to the Bafana setup after fully recovering from his injury which ruled him out of action against Libya.
Kermit Erasmus – the Cape Town City playmaker is also a new name on the list, although makes his return since last appearing in 2017.
Fortune Makaringe – the Maritzburg United was not included in the squad who faced Libya.
Ben Motshwari – the Orlando Pirates midfielder receives his first Bafana call-up.
