Following a disappointing showing in the same tournament in Rustenburg last year, Masuku believes that this year's edition in Namibia will be important, not only for the sake of the country's pride, but also the Under 23s' preparation for the Olympics in Rio.
"It's always an honour for us to represent the country and we have to do it for our country," he told the Siya crew. "We know it's tough playing against other national teams but we are ready to face them and do it for our country and prepare for the Olympics."
The 23-year-old went on to say that he and his teammates already understand what it's like to play together, which will give them an advantage over other teams.
"Most of the players in the team have been together and we know each other's strengths and that will help us as a team," he added.
