A former captain of the South African senior national team is due back in court in KwaZulu-Natal to face an allegation of rape.
As reported, former Bafana defender Mbulelo Mabizela recently appeared in court over an alleged rape incident, which happened earlier this year.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) confirmed that they have been investigating a case of rape after a victim was allegedly raped last month by 'a known suspect' at Machibisa, a location in Pietermaritzburg in KwaZulu-Natal.
In providing an update on the matter, the SAPS have confirmed to the Siya crew that the accused is set to make his next court appearance in three weeks' time.
"The case was remanded (to) 14 June 2019," confirmed the SAPS through their media centre in KZN.
As confirmed by the police, the case has already been postponed on two occasions from on 3 May and 10 May 2019 respectively.

The accused was reportedly released on R1000 bail, following his previous appearance at the Pietermaritzburg Magistrates Court.
The police confirmed that the victim was allegedly raped on 28 April 2019.
