
Bafana May Not Call A Keagan Dolly Replacement

With Keagan Dolly unable to make it to the African Cup of Nations due to injury, questions have been asked about whether a replacement will be called – though it appears that won't happen. Since it was confirmed that Dolly would not be able to be part of the squad that travels to Egypt, there has been talk of whether or not Baxter will bring another player into camp before selecting his final squad as he cuts down the preliminary side to just 23 players. Dominic Chimhavi, the South African Football Association's Head of Communications, has suggested that the head coach is more likely to just pick from the pool of players that he already has with him in Bafana camp at present, telling the Siya crew, "He is unlikely to call any replacement considering the squad still needs to be reduced."
