UWC Have A Outside Chance Of Making Fourth Spot

UWC head into their home game against the defending champions UP-Tuks knowing they have an outside chance of qualifying for the semi-finals if they are able to overcome the Pretoria students. The Cape side have blown hot and cold this year and find themselves in sixth spot, just two points off fourth placed NMMU. Udubs surprised many when they beat the PE students away from home and were favourites to pick up another three points against the University of Limpopo in their following game but were unable to do so at home and had to settle for a draw. A win in that game could have left them with a better chance of getting a semi-final spot but now not only will they have to beat the impressive Tuks side but they will also need to rely on other results going their way. UWC have struggled with their fitness levels as well as playing as a unit which has frustrated their coach, Boebie Williams.
