A number of top footballers, including Lionel Messi, recently had some terms of their club contracts made public by the Football Leaks website, and the German World Cup winner has now found his details in the media.
The 26-year-old joined Los Blancos for €25 million (R449 million) in July 2014 after he felt he was undervalued at Bayern Munich.
He reportedly earns a whopping €10.9 million (R196 million) a year at Real, which calculates to about €5 million after tax.
It is also claimed the midfielder has an additional clause in his contract that would see him bank €1.8 million (R32 million) if he is nominated as one of the three finalists for the FIFA Ballon d'Or.
The midfielder's salary is the third Real-related information the website has leaked – in January, they posted the transfer details of Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo's moves to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Kroos has made 81 appearances for the club, scoring two goals and assisting a further 23 strikes, and has lifted four trophies since joining the Spanish giants.
