Bale recently signed a new long-term deal with the Spanish giants, and has been fine form of late, which included three goals in his last two games.
Real defender, Dani Carvajal believes Ronaldo still has a lot of good years ahead him, but feels Bale will take over once the Portuguese starts declining.
"Time passes and we know there will be a day when Cristiano is no longer on the same level, just like has happened with all the world stars like Raul and Figo in the past," Carvajal told Marca.
"We don't know when that might be but I think Bale is the suitable man to replace him when it happens."
