Sports company PUMA has created new home and away jerseys for South African football club Mamelodi Sundowns, with the words '50 Years' below the redesigned team logo, which marks an important milestone. The replica kit available to fans is the first of a number of drops planned for the new season.
The kit is in refreshed colours of yellow, green and blue, true to the colours of the Brazil national team from which Mamelodi Sundowns earned their nickname: The Brazilians. The nickname extends far beyond shared colours, as Masandawana play with an African-flavoured Samba style inspired by their South American brothers.
