Result: Leganes 0-0 Atletico Madrid
Date: 30 September 2017
Venue: Butarque
Atletico Madrid's three-game winning run came to an end after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Leganes on Saturday evening.
Diego Simeone made a few changes for the clash as Stefan Savic, Gabi and Lucian Vietto were handed starts.
Leganes nearly took a suprising lead in the ninth minute when Beauvue's bicycle-kick sailed inches wide of the upright.
Beauvue went close for the home side once again in the 21st minute as his first-time effort from close range flew wide of Jan Oblak's upright.
Atletico nearly went ahead after 33 minutes but Saul Niguez's volley was turned away by Leganes goalkeeper Cuellar.
That proved to be the final chance of the half as the sides went into the break goalless.
Oblak came to Atletico's rescue 10 minutes into the second half as produced a fine save to turn away Beauvue's volley.
Simeone opted for a change just before the hour mark as Yannick Carrasco was introduced in place of Angel Correa.
The visitors had to wait until the 72nd minute for their next chance but Cuellar was on hand to tip Diego Godin's around the post.
Leganes went closest to snatching a win, but Oblak popped up with a superb save in the 88th minute to ensure both sides received a share of the spoils.
