Chelsea claimed the bragging rights in the London derby with a 3-0 victory away to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening.

Spurs were boosted by the return from injury of Son-Heung Min, alongside the returning Giovanni Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele while the Blues were without shot-stopper Edouard Mendy, due to injury and Kepa replaced him, with Thiago Silva and Kai Havertz recalled.

After a goalless first half, Thiago Silva eventually broke the deadlock for the visitors four minutes later with a powerful header from Marcos Alonso's corner.
Chelsea were forceful after that and Alonso came close to doubling their lead eight minutes inside the second stanza with a strike unmarked inside the box that was blocked off the line by Eric Dier.
The Blues eventually went 2-0 up four minutes later after Kante unleashed a speculative effort that took a nasty deflection and went in past goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, off the bottom post.
Silva came close to getting the third goal in the last quarter of an hour with a flicked header at the near post from another corner by Alonso that produced an acrobatic save from Lloris.
Antonio Rudiger sealed the deal for the Blues in stoppage time with a low strike inside the box after a cut-back by Werner as Chelsea moved level with Liverpoo, who boast an identifical record after after five matches.
