The French midfielder has explained via Facebook that he was the subject of racial abuse during the Bianconeri's 1-0 win on Saturday night.
This is not the first time Matuidi has been affected by racism since joining Juve at the beginning of this season either – Verona were fined €20 000 (R297 000) and handed a partial stadium ban after their supporters sang racist chants towards the midfielder earlier this campaign.
"Today (Saturday), I experienced racism during the match," Matuidi wrote on Facebook.
"Weak people try to intimidate with hate. I am not a hater and can only be sorry for those who set bad examples.
