Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt has conceded to the challenges his side has faced this season with more injuries amid a tough schedule.
Amakhosi travel to Thohoyandou to face a Black Leopards side that will be relegated from the DStv Premiership to the second tier if they lose, but could have an advantage in hosting a Chiefs team that has just returned from Tanzania.
The Glamour Boys secured a place in the semifinals of the CAF Champions League, though they were hammered 3-0 by Simba SC on Saturday and almost had their 4-0 deficit overturned in a frantic match played over the weekend.
"Well, it's part and parcel of what's been happening this season, which is good. But we now have to get our league form right," Hunt, quoted on Chiefs' website, said of the travelling.
"We have had one day's training. Obviously, the game against Leopards is a big one for us. It's another game right around the corner from the last one."
According to the club, Hunt is nearing a career milestone of 900 games in the top flight, but he will have to get the job done without the suspended duo of Njabulo Blom and Willard Katsande, while Dumisani Zuma joins Khama Billiat on the injury list.
"We have had endless problems for every game. Players have not all been available right from the start of the season. That is what it is, we just have to take this game in front of us on Wednesday. We are going to have a lot of players out due to suspension and injury, so we will have to work with those who are available," said Hunt.
