Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale has reportedly agreed a move that will see him return to the Premier League after seven years in Spain.
According to the Daily Mail, the 31-year-old has agreed a sensational return to Tottenham Hotspur on a season-long loan deal.
It is claimed the four-time UEFA Champions League winner will earn a staggering £13 million (R276 million) in wages in the 2020/21 season, part of which will be paid by Los Blancos.
Bale had previously been linked with a move to Manchester United, but is now said to be close to rejoining the Lilywhites, with whom he made his name before his huge Real switch in 2013.
Earlier this week, his agent Jonathan Barnett revealed that he and his client were in talks with the London club, and admitted that the Welshman is eager to re-sign for his former team.
