EURO 2020 Final Starting XI: Italy v England 11 July 2021

All eyes will be on Wembley Stadium this evening as Italy take on England in the European Championship final, with the Three Lions looking to make the most of home advantage.

Teams: Italy v England

Date: 11 July 2021

Venue: Wembley Stadium

Gareth Southgate's charges have played six of their seven matches in the tournament at Wembley Stadium, with their quarter-final win against Ukraine taking place at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

The Three Lions boast one of the best defensive records in the competition after only conceding one goal, which came in the semi-final win over Denmark on Wednesday.

Italy, meanwhile, took everybody by surprise and have been joy to watch under Roberto Mancini, especially after they eliminated Belgium and Spain on their way to the final.

The win over Spain on Tuesday extended the Azzuri's unbeaten record to 33 matches, a run that stretches back to 2018.

The last two meetings between these two nations have ended in draws, although they did lock horns in the 2012 quarter-finals of this tournament where the Italians triumphed on penalties.

While Italy go in search of their second European title, the English are still looking for their maiden triumph on the continent.

Italy: Donnarumma; Di Lorenzo, Bonucci, Chiellini, Emerson; Jorginho, Barella, Veratti; Chiesa, Insigne, Immobile.
