Teams: Black Leopards v Kaizer Chiefs
Date: 26 May 2021
Venue: Thohoyandou Stadium
Kaizer Chiefs will be chasing a top eight spot when they visit Black Leopards in the DStv Premiership on Wednesday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium.
The match will get underway at 15h00.
Chiefs made their own history by reaching the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League for the first time with a 4-3 aggregate win over Simba SC in the quarter-finals over the weekend.
The league is a different story though, as Gavin Hunt's charges are winless in their last four matches and have dropped down to 11th on the log, but a win this afternoon will see the side jump into the top eight.
On the other hand, Leopards are fighting to avoid automatic relegation after winning only one match in their last 11 league outings.
The Limpopo outfit failed to close the gap behind 15th-placed Chippa United after they were held to a goalless draw by Chippa United and remain six points adrift of safety.
Lidoda Duvha will have hopes of causing an upset after squandering a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Chiefs in the first-round meeting in December last year at FNB Stadium.
