Hoffenheim 3-2 Mainz Hoffenheim edged out Mainz after a five-goal thriller in the German Bundesliga on Saturday. Jhon Cordoba gave the visitors the lead in the 11th minute, but Nadiem Amiri equalised only two minutes later. Two goals from Mark Uth (68', 76') clinched the win for the home side, before a consolation strike from Jairo Samperio (78').
Hertha 1-1 Wolfsburg Marcel Schafer broke the deadlock for the visitors in the 53rd minute, but Salomon Kalou restored parity on the hour mark as the teams shared the spoils. Ingolstadt 2-0 Werder The hosts secured a comfortable win over Werder to claim the three points. Benjamin Hubner put them in front in the 12th minute before a 90th-minute strike from Lukas Hinterseer. Munchengladbach 1-0 Koln Mahmoud Dahoud was the solitary striker for the hosts as they claimed victory thanks to his ninth-minute goal. The result sees Munchengladbach occupy fifth position in the standings, one point behind third-placed Hertha.
