Black leopards and Sundowns proves that football standards does exist.

I have been watching and following football for many years now, and people who have been on this same boat as me, knows about the "big three teams of SA". Have we noticed how Kaizer chiefs, Pirates and Sundowns became the big three of south African football that they are today? I'm sure that we all have an answer to this question and that answer is: these clubs earned the big three status because of their performances on the field of play over the years and mostly financial muscles have a huge impact to their success stories.We find it easy to mention only these three clubs ( and sometimes we add the likes of SuperSport united and Bidvest Wits- soon to be TTM ) as potential winners for league titles and cups, and It is harder to think about the same clubs as possible candidates for relegation. But the truth is that these clubs have earned this respect because of quality players in their respective camps. Once again it is their financial well being that have prompted them this far, but the most important thing is that they have a standard of their own and winning games and cup competitions have became a culture in these in clubs.PSL have 16 teams ( every season ) that compete for the league and cup games ( there's even teams from the lower leagues in the nedbank cup games ) but mostly these clubs have always been the favourite over the past 10 years ( at least ) because of the quality players they have have.In recent times now we have seen this trend growing even in the relegation play offs, we have seen PSL teams being able to over power GladAfrica teams and subsequently retaining their PSL status. Maritzburg united, Baroka and now Black leopards have done it. That means the difference between teams from lower decisions and PSL is becoming wider each season. And we have seen more of this Seria A with juventus, Barcolan and Real Madrid in La liga and bayern munich in bundesliga, to mention just a few examples.This tells that clubs competing in the same league are normally not on the same level ( with one club or more ) highly liked to win any competition ( within that league ) and are required to compete in continental competitions for a "fair competition" and unfortunately not any 11 vs 11 can result on each side winning, and sundowns are currently the Juventus and bayern munich of SA football.
