Argentina star, Angel di Maria, believes his teammate Lionel Messi is the best player at the World Cup in Brazil.
The Argentina captain has already scored four goals in three games and di Maria revealed that the 27-year-old inspires the whole team.
"Leo is the best in the world. What he does nobody else can do and luckily he's ours," he told Marca.
"He is going to be the World Cup's big goal scorer. He's at a tremendous moment, and that's very good but we all catch it off him."
Di Maria also confirmed that Argentina are still getting better and insisted his side have what it takes to win the World Cup in Brazil.
"We're going from less to more. We haven't reached our best level yet, but I still believe we can win the World Cup," he added.
"The human team that we have here is fundamental. There is zero friction and during these days living together, we are more united than ever. We feel very strong."
Messi has carried Argentina through the group stage but the South Americans have won all three games rather through effective than beautiful football.
They will face Switzerland in the last 16 tonight.
