2015 African Cup of Nations hosts, Burkina Faso will be looking for their first win in Group A when they take on Burkina Faso in their second match at the Bata Stadium on Wednesday night.
The match is scheduled to get underway at 18h00.
Equatorial Guinea gained a point in their first 2015 Afcon match against Congo on January 17.
Emilio Nsue gave the host nation the lead in the first half before Thievy Bifouma equalised late on for Congo.
Burkina Faso, on the other hand, suffered a 2-0 loss to Gabon in their opening Group A encounter which leaves them in a precarious position at the bottom of the standings and desperate for a win.
Equatorial Guinea and Burkina Faso have only ever met once prior to this match and in that encounter in Bobo Dioulasso in 2011, Burkina Faso ran out 1-0 winners.
