UEFA Champions League Team Of The Week (Matchday 6)

With plenty of Champions League action this week, we saw a couple of standout performers of whom most of them guided their teams to success. Find out which stars made our Team of the Week.

As always, our Champions League Team of the Week will be based on Opta stats and Whoscored ratings. This team's Team of the Week will line up in a 4-4-2 formation.

GK: Vladislav Stoyanov (Ludogorets) – 8.8

The Bulgarian goalkeeper was actually the Man of the Match in Real Madrid's 4-0 win over Ludogorets. If not for his vital interventions, the score line would have been truly embarrassing.

RB: Ricardo Pereira (Porto) – 8.9

The young Portuguese full-back was in good form in his team's 1-1 draw against Shakhtar and moved the ball around well while gallivanting up and down the right hand side of the pitch.

CB: Emir Spahic (Leverkusen) – 9.1

The veteran Bosnian centre-back was a saving grace for his team in a poor showing against Benfica. His interventions and aerial presence were pivotal in keeping the score line goalless to earn his team the draw.

CB: Mikel San Jose (Athletic Club) – 9.0

The Spaniard put on a solid display in the Basque team's 2-0 win over BATE, where he scored a goal and played well at the back to ensure that his team kept a clean sheet

LB: Jonathan Silva (Sporting Lisbon) – 8.3

Sporting's talented left-back found the net for his team's only goal against Chelsea in a 3-1 loss where he was awarded with the Man of the Match award.

RM: Markel Susaeta (Athletic Club) – 9.1

Susaeta scored the other goal and assisted San Jose's in the 2-0 win over BATE, putting on an excellent display on the right hand side of the pitch, where he was a constant threat.

CM: Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal) – 9.2

The Welshman was back to his best form, scoring two goals and assisting another, while also providing a good defensive contribution in the London club's 4-1 win against Galatasary.

CM: Davy Klaassen (Ajax) – 9.0

The young midfielder will have caught the eye of many European clubs with yet another fine showing in the Champions League, scoring an assisting for two of his team's goals in their 4-0 win over APOEL.

LM: Ricardo Kishna (Ajax) – 9.8

Kishna was incredible on the wing, with several quality through balls and crosses off the flank and was able to get an assist in his team's win over APOEL.

ST: Arkadiusz Milik (Ajax) – 8.1

The Polish striker scored a goal and assisted another in his team's win over APOEL and was able to continue his great run of form with yet another spectacular performance.

ST: Mario Götze (FC Bayern) – 8.4

The World Cup winner was able to score against CSKA Moscow in his team's 3-0 win at home and he was a constant threat throughout.
