FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain will meet for the first time since the Catalan giants thrashed the French side 6-1 a few years back – here is how they line up for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie!
The famous remontada (comeback) occurred in 2017 when Barca overturned a 4-0 first-leg defeat, with Neymar being the star of the show, scoring twice and setting up Sergi Roberto's much-celebrated 95th minute winner.
However, the Brazilian will miss the game this time around after picking up an injury that has ruled him out of the first leg.
Overall, the two sides have met 11 times, with Barcelona winning five of those games while PSG ended up victorious three times, and the other three matches ending in draws.
The home side could have avoided such a strong round of 16 opponent had they not lost 3-0 to Juventus at the Camp Nou on matchday six of the group stage.
That defeat was Barca's first loss at home in 39 Champions League matches, a run that began in September 2013 and broke the previous competition record of 29 by Bayern Munich.
The Blaugrana have also appeared in 13 successive Champions League quarter-finals, a competition record they will be looking to hold on to. The last time they failed to reach the last eight was in the 2006/07 campaign.
PSG, meanwhile, lost two of their first three group stage matches this season before racing to the top of their group with three wins.
The French side, though, has since replaced Thomas Tuchel with Mauricio Pochettino in their dugout and the Argentine has won eight, drawn one and lost just one of his first 10 matches in charge of the Ligue 1 champions.
Their round of 16 record is less impressive than Barca's, though, having won five and lost three of their eight previous appearances at this stage of the competition.
The visitors will be without Angel Di Maria and Juan Bernat in addition to Neymar, while the hosts will not be able to call on Philippe Coutinho, Ansu Fati, Sergi Roberto and Ronald Araujo, who are all sidelined with injuries.
