UEFA Champions League Quarter-Final Draw Announced

The UEFA Champions League quarter-finals draw took place today, and brought us some massive clashes, including the replays of two recent finals.

Just eight teams are left in Europe's elite club competition, including defending champions Bayern Munich and record winners Real Madrid.

The latter were paired with Liverpool in a replay of the 2017/18 final, while Bayern will face Paris Saint-Germain after the two sides met in last year's final.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, meanwhile, will face Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, while Chelsea were drawn against Porto.

Samuel Eto’o (Sampdoria) – mutual termination

Kevin-Prince Boateng (Schalke) – terminated for unprofessional conduct

Clayton Daniels (Mamelodi Sundowns) – mutual termination

Luis Boa Morte (Orlando Pirates) – mutual termination

Sergi Guardiola (FC Barcelona) – terminated for controversial tweets

Nicolas Anelka (West Bromwich Albion) – terminated for alleged anti-Semitic goal celebration

Adrian Mutu (Chelsea) – terminated for testing positive in a drug test

Diego Costa (Atletico Madrid) – mutual termination

Sokratis Papastathopoulos (Arsenal) – mutual termination

Shkodran Mustafi (Arsenal) – mutual termination

Mesut Ozil (Arsenal) – mutual termination

The quarter-finals will take place on 6/7 April and 13/14 April, while the semi-finals are scheduled for 27/28 April and 4/5 May.

This year's final, meanwhile, is set to take place on 29 May at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.
