Manchester City superstar Sergio Aguero has revealed what really happened with Lionel Messi in the tunnel after FC Barcelona's 3-1 loss to the Citizens in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.
Reports: Messi Clashed With City Star In Tunnel
The Argentina captain was reportedly involved in an altercation with a City player on his way to the dressing room after the game.
Aguero has confirmed he stepped in to defuse the situation after Messi became furious at something that was apparently said to him.
"Whenever you lose, you're not very happy. I saw him there, he was feeling bad," the former Atletico Madrid striker said, as quoted by the Daily Mirror.
"I know him well enough to know when he's bad, when he's good. But when you lose, nobody's good!
"I thought Messi said something to me but he didn't, and then we talked about other stuff. It was nothing serious. I heard something but I don't know what happened.
"When someone loses, you have to respect them. Leo wasn't in the mood to talk and I respect that."

A Kevin De Bruyne free-kick and a brace from Ilkay Gundogan was enough to see off the Blaugrana on the night.
