Real Madrid legend Roberto Carlos claims Mohamed Salah will not go close to Sergio Ramos when Los Blancos face Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
The Premier League champions will do battle with the Spanish champions in the Champions League for the first time since the 2018 final.
Los Blancos ran out 3-1 winners on that night thanks a second-half brace by Gareth Bale, but Salah does have bad memories from the clash after dislocating his shoulder in a challenge with Ramos in the first half.
Carlos, who won the trophy three times with Real, feels this will be one of the major talking points heading into the clash next month.
"Salah is not even going to get close to Sergio [Ramos]. It will be an action that is going to be talked about a lot," Carlos told AS.
"We [Madrid] are going to play against a good team. The first game is at home, Real Madrid's momentum is great and they must decide the tie at home."
"The important thing is that Zidane has all his players ready, that they come back as quickly as possible. It is easy for him to be a coach here because he has the best at his disposal. If a game does not go well, he has eight players of the highest level waiting to play. You have to be concerned with Liverpool, but they more," he added.
