The Bayern Munich forward netted his side's opener in their clash with Lazio on Wednesday night.
The Poland forward pounced on a lose ball by the Lazio defence to score his 32nd goal across all competitions in 2020/21.
It was his fourth goal in this season's UCL, taking his overall tally in the competition to 72 strikes.
Lewandowski's goal saw him overtake Real Madrid legend Raul Gonzalez in the all-time scoring charts, with only Lionel Messi and Ronaldo ahead of him.
Messi has found the back of the net on 119 occassions in Europe's elite club competition, while Ronaldo reigns surpreme with 134 goals.
