Liverpool Confirm Squad For UEFA Champions League Knockout Stages, Make One Change

With the UEFA Champions League returning to our screens later this month, reigning European champions Liverpool have confirmed their squad for the knockout stages of the competition, making one change.

Ahead of their round of 16 Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid, the Reds have confirmed their squad for the knockout stages of the competition and made one change to the selection that took part in the group stage.

Minamino had come up against Jurgen Klopp's side in the group stage of the competition, but UEFA's rule changes now allow a player to be registered for two clubs during a single European campaign. 

Goalkeepers: Alisson Becker, Adrian, Andy Lonergan, Caoimhin Kelleher (B)

Defenders: Virgil van Dijk, Dejan Lovren, Joe Gomez, Andy Robertson, Joel Matip, Adam Lewis (B), Trent Alexander-Arnold (B), Neco Williams (B), Yasser Larouci (B)

Midfielders: Fabinho, Georginio Wijnaldum, James Milner, Naby Keita, Jordan Henderson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Adam Lallana, Xherdan Shaqiri, Curtis Jones (B), Harvey Elliott

Forwards: Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Takumi Minamino, Divock Origi

Liverpool travel to Madrid on Tuesday, 18 February, for their clash against Atletico Madrid, before hosting their Spanish opponents at Anfield in the return leg on Wednesday, 11 March.
