The 22-year-old scored a hat-trick in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie at the Camp Nou, stealing the show from Lionel Messi, who had netted the opening goal of the encounter.
However, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner was also involved in a clash with Barca trio Sergino Dest, Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba, telling the latter he would "kill him" with his skills if they met in the streets.
Here is how the altercation went, according to Movistar+:
Mbappe to Dest: "Don't touch me."
Alba to Mbappe: "He has apologised to you. Look at your ID card. You're arrogant, you're arrogant."
Mbappe to Alba: "In the street I'll kill you, in the street I'll kill you."
Pique to Mbappe: "Who are you going to kill?"
Alba to Pique: "He's learning, the guy's learning."
The return leg in Paris will take place on Wednesday, 10 March.
