Arguably the most notable player to have represented both Los Blancos and the Citizens is Robinho. The former Brazil international achieved worldwide fame during his time in Madrid, where he made more than 100 appearances, before becoming City's then-most expensive signing of all time in 2008 following a £32.5 million (R640 million) move.
The current Istanbul Basaksehir forward is not the only well-known striker to have donned the colours of both clubs, however, with the likes of Nicolas Anelka, Alvaro Negredo and Emmanuel Adebayor all having stints in Madrid and Manchester during their respective careers.

Brahim Diaz is the only current player on either side's books to have played for the other club, with the 20-year-old having made his senior debut under Pep Guardiola in 2016 before joining Real at the start of last season.
Other double agents include Brazil fullback Danilo, who now plies his trade alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus, former England international Steve McManaman, and current Real Betis midfielder Javi Garcia.
