Zlatan Ibrahimovic Breaks Silence On Romelu Lukaku Spat, Denies Racial Slur

AC Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has broken his silence on his spat with Inter Milan's Romelu Lukaku on Tuesday night, insisting he did not use racial slurs towards his former teammate.

The two forwards clashed in the Milan derby this week, locking heads and exchanging some heated words before being separated on the stroke of half-time.

The Swede is alleged to have shouted "Go do your voodoo s***, little donkey" at Lukaku, while also making a remark about the Belgian's mother.

After some had claimed that Ibrahimovic's words were racist, the Milan forward took to Twitter to dismiss those suggestions.

"In ZLATAN's world there is no place for RACISM. We are all the same race – we are all equal! We are all PLAYERS some better than others," he tweeted.

Lukaku, meanwhile, is yet to comment on the incident.

The Belgium international, who has Congolese parents, scored the equaliser from the penalty spot in the 71st minute after Ibrahimovic had netted the opener for Milan in the first half, before Christian Eriksen's free-kick winner in the 97th minute sent Inter to the Coppa Italia semi-finals.
