Atalanta 1-3 AC Milan
January acquisition Krzysztof Piatek played a starring role as AC Milan came from behind to defeat Atalanta in Serie A on Saturday evening.
Remo Freuler gave Atalanta the lead on 33 minutes before Piatek leveled matters with a delightful finish on the stroke of halftime. Hakan Çalhanoglu then gifted Milan the lead ten minutes after the restart with his first league goal of the season. Piatek rounded off the scoring for the visitors, who remain in fourth spot but they are now one point behind third-place Inter Milan.
Cagliari 2-1 Parma Cagliari rallied back from a goal down to defeat Parma 2-1 on Saturday evening. Juraj Kucka handed the visitors the lead five minutes before the halftime break, but Pavoletti restored parity in the 65th minute. Pavoletti had the final say as he secured the winning goal and his brace on 85 minutes before the hosts finished the game with 10 men when João Pedro received his marching orders five minutes later.
