Fiorentina ended their disappointing campaign on a high after defeating SPAL 3-1.

Goals from Alfred Duncan, Christian Kouame and Eric Pulgar guided Viola to victory, which secured a ninth-place finish while SPAL finished bottom of the standings.

Genoa avoided relegation on the final day of the season with a 3-0 win over Hellas Verona.

The hosts raced into a 3-0 lead in the first half thanks to a brace from Antonio Sanabria and a solitary strike from Cristian Romero.

The second half failed to provide any goals, but three goals was enough to save Genoa's top flight status.

Lecce were relegated to Serie B after a 4-3 defeat to Parma on Sunday night.

The visitors took an early two-goal lead thanks to a Fabio Lucioni own goal and Gianluca Caprari.

Lecce did manage to pull themselves level through Antonín Barák and Biagio Meccariello just before the break.

Andreas Cornelius and Roberto Inglese restored Parma's two-goal advantage while Gianluca Lapadula netted a third for the hosts, who were relegated.

It was honours even at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara, where Bologna and Torino ended the season with a point each.

Mattias Svanberg put Bologna ahead on 18 minutes while Simone Zaza levelled matters for the visitors after 66 minutes.

Stefano Okaka's solitary strike guided Udinese to a 1-0 win over Sassuolo on Sunday evening.

The visitors end the campaign in 13th position while Sassuolo finish in eighth spot.
