Bianconeri manager Maurizio Sarri made only one change from the side that beat Genoa, as veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon got the nod ahead of Wojciech Szczesny.
Juventus got off to a dream start as Paulo Dybala opened the scoring in just the third minute with a curling strike that found the back of the net from the edge of the box.
The hosts were threatening to double their lead and they were eventually rewarded just before the half-hour mark thanks to a strike by Juan Cuadrado across the goal towards the bottom corner after a lay-off from Cristiano Ronaldo.
Sarri's charges conceded a penalty in first-half stoppages after a ball bounced on Matthijs de Ligt's leg and hit his arm inside the box. Andrea Belotti stepped up and found the bottom corner to reduce the deficit.
The visitors started the second stanza brightly as Belotti came close to equalising five minutes from the break with a strike from the rebound that came off the crossbar and he scored on his follow-up with a header but he was flagged offside.
However, Juventus restored their two-goal cushion just after the hour-mark after Ronaldo curled a dipping strike over the wall from a free-kick that found the top corner, giving goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu no chance..
The Old Lady were threatening to run riot but their momentum was cooled down somewhat by the water break in the last quarter of an hour.
However, the hosts regained their control of the match in the closing phase and got the fourth goal to seal the three points in the last three minutes after Koffi Djidji directed Douglas Costa's cross into his own net.
