Date: 14 February 2021

Venue: San Siro

Romelu Lukaku moved level with Cristiano Ronaldo in the Golden Boot race as Inter Milan defeated Lazio 3-1 to move top of the Serie A table on Sunday night.

Antonio Conte made one change from the midweek draw with Juventus as Matteo Darmian dropped to the bench as Ivan Perisic got the start.

First blood went to the hosts after Lautaro Martinez won a penalty, which Romelu Lukaku converted in the 19th minute for his 15th league goal of the season.

After a quiet start, Lazio started seeing more of the ball in the latter stages of the first half, with Luis Alberto forcing Samir Handanovic into a fine save from close range on 38 minutes.

However, Inter managed to bag a second goal on the stroke of halftime through Lukaku, who completed his brace with an instinctive finish past Pepe Reina.
