Venue: San Siro
Juventus missed the chance to move 10 points clear at the top of Serie A after throwing away a two-goal lead in a shock 4-2 loss to AC Milan.
Bianconeri made three changes, as goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny returned while Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani took the place of the suspended Paulo Dybala and Matthijs de Ligt.
The sides were determined in the early stages but Juventus came the closest to opening the scoring in the tenth minute after Rodrigo Bentancur delivered a teasing cross at the far post from a free-kick but Leonardo Bonucci arrived seconds late.
The game was opening up in the closing phase of the first stanza and in stoppage time Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma denied Higuain a brilliant goal with a great save at while Zlatan Ibrahimovic had a goal disallowed for the hosts for offside.
Maurizio Sarri's charges had a dream start in the second stanza as Adrien Rabiot finally broke the deadlock two minutes from the break with a smashing strike to the far post after a superb run from inside his own half.
Bianconeri doubled their lead five minutes later as Cristiano Ronaldo latched onto Juan Cuadrado's long pass over the defence and struck a low shot that found the bottom corner.
However, Stefano Pioli's troops were offered a lifeline with a penalty awarded in their favour via the Video Assistant Referee in the 62nd minute after Bonucci elbowed a cross inside the box. Ibrahimovic stepped up to take the spot-kick and made no mistake to reduce the deficit.
The Rossoneri were spirited as Franck Kessie equalised for the hosts just four minutes later with a great finish inside the box after a through ball from Ibrahimovic.
Milan were incredibly 3-2 up in the 67th minute after Ante Rebic threaded a well-weighted pass into the path of Rafael Leao, who needed some fortune as his shot at the near post took a wicked deflection and wrong-footed Szczesny.
The game was stretching from end to end but the Rossoneri put Juventus out of their misery in the last ten minutes after a mistake by Alex Sandro led to Giacomo Bonaventura intercepting his long pass at the back to setup Rebic, who netted from close range.
