Serie A giants Juventus have confirmed that another one of their stars has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Daniele Rugani was the first Juventus player to test positive for the Coronavirus-COVID-19 last week, which sent the rest of the squad into self-isolation.
The Serie A champions have now confirmed that French midfielder Blaise Matuidi has also tested positive for the virus.
"Blaise Matuidi has undergone medical tests that have revealed his positivity to the Coronavirus-COVID-19," a statement on the club's website read.
"The player, as of Wednesday 11 March, has been in voluntary home isolation. He will continue to be monitored and will follow the same regime. He is well and is asymptomatic."
As a result of the outbreak, all football across Europe's big leagues have been suspended until April while UEFA confirmed on Tuesday that the 2020 European Championship has been postponed to next year.
