Lukaku took his seasonal tally to 16 league goals for the campaign this past weekend with a brace that inspired Inter to a 2-0 win over Udinese.
In doing so, the Belgium international became the first player ever in the modern era to score 11 goals or more in his first 11 appearances in the competition.
His brace also saw him reach the milestone of 20 goals across all competitions for the campaign, already five more than he scored with United in the entirety of last season.
The 26-year-old is currently the third-top scorer in the Italian top flight this season, behind Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo (19) and Lazio striker Ciro Immobile (25).
