The 27-year-old scored his 20th Serie A goal for Inter on Sunday, but could not prevent his side losing 2-1 at home to Bologna.
It was not all bad for Lukaku, though, as the Belgium striker made history for Inter. He became only the fourth player in the club's rich history to score at least 20 goals within the first 30 games of his first season with the Nerazzurri.
The first player to achieve this milestone was Giuseppe Meazza in 1930, before Stefano Nyers, in 1949, and Ronaldo Nazario, in 1998, matched the impressive goals return, as Opta Sports pointed out.
Lukaku's 20 strikes puts him in third position in the Serie A Golden Boot ranking, with only Cristiano Ronaldo and Ciro Immobile having scored more than the former United forward.

Overall, Lukaku has scored 26 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions for the Nerazzurri in this campaign.
