According to Sky Sports, the England international's signature came in exchange for a fee of £34 million (R695 million), which makes his transfer one of the most expensive of this window so far.
After coming through Chelsea's famed academy, Abraham went on to make an impressive 82 appearances for the first team, amassing 32 goals and 12 assists.
Unable to keep up the promising form he showed at the start of the 2019/20 season, he has since lost his place in the Three Lions set-up, while playing time at club level has also been difficult to come by.
