Dybala completed a move to the city of Rome on a free transfer this week after parting ways with Serie A rivals Juventus last month.
The Argentine attracted interest from a number of clubs across but Jose Mourinho managed to pull off a coupe to land the attacker.
The transfer has certainly gone down well with Roma supporters, who showed their appreciation by buying the Argentine's jersey ahead of the new season.
Italian publication Corriere dello sport has reported that Dybala's shirt sales has surpassed the amount of shirts Juventus sold when Ronaldo was signed three years ago.
Dybala will wear the number 21 jersey after turning down the chance to wear the famous number 10 jersey, which was last worn by club legend Francesco Totti.
"They asked if I wanted to take the No. 10, which has significance here for everything Totti did," he explained, as per Italian Football TV.
"I think that shirt and number should remain his because of what he means to the city and the fans. I still see it as his shirt.
"Maybe I'll wear it one day."
