Juventus superstar Paulo Dybala has seen his credentials questioned by a former Italy and Real Madrid striker, who has claimed the Argentine cracks under pressure.
Despite his status at the Bianconeri as one of the team's best-paid players and as one of the fans' favourites, Dybala has often appeared on the cusp of an exit from the Italian giants.
The 27-year-old has featured 14 times in all competitions under Andrea Pirlo this season so far, and is said to be far away from extending his contract, which expires in 2022, at the Old Lady.
Rumours suggest Dybala has demanded €10 million (R183 million) a season in discussions over a new deal, something former Italy forward Antonio Cassano takes issue with.
"All his coaches at Juventus did not consider him necessary, so I wonder if he is a champion or a great player," he said on Twitch, according to Goal.
"For me he is not a champion, he does not make the difference. He has (scored) good goals, like I saw (Antonio) Di Natale and (Lorenzo) Insigne do.
"But if you want to take Juventus' No.10 (shirt), you have to be at a higher level.
"I have the feeling that, when they put pressure on him, he s**** himself!
"And then he asks for €10m per season? Oh, please!"
Dybala joined Juve in 2015 from Palermo, and has contributed to 136 strikes in 242 games since.
