Olivier Giroud wants his new team AC Milan to raid his former club Chelsea for one of their attackers ahead of next season.
The Frenchman completed a move to the Serie A giants last month after spending the past three years with the Blues, with whom he won the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League.
Giroud won the UCL title with Hakim Ziyech last season, but the Moroccan is yet to replicate the form he showed for Ajax Amsterdam at Chelsea and has been linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge.
Ziyech is reportedly a transfer target for the Rossoneri as they look to fill the void left by Turkish attacking midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu – who has joined rivals Inter Milan – and Giroud is seemingly keen to see the move happen.
"He has a top left foot, has experience, and he is very good technically. It would be nice to play with him again."
Giroud managed to score on his Milan debut as they drew 1-1 with Ligue 1 outfit OGC Nice on the weekend.
