With football in Italy having been suspended since March, the return date for Serie A has officially been confirmed by the country's sports minister Vincenzo Spadafora.
On Thursday evening, the BBC reported that the Italian top flight, after being placed on hold since 9 March, will resume on 20 June.
Italy was one of the worst-hit countries following the coronavirus outbreak, but an end to heavy lockdown restrictions in the country is officially in sight.
Players in Serie A returned to group training earlier this week, while individual training began earlier this month.
England's Premier League is set to resume on 17 June, while Spain's LaLiga will return on 8 June.
